"The good life is a balance between having self-joy, love, growth, and internal awareness, and working hard to be of service to others."
Jeff Snipes
Co-Founder & Chairman, Millennium.org
Jeff currently serves as Founder and Chairman of Millennium.org, an organization dedicated to expanding Whole Self well-being through education. In addition to its lab school in San Francisco, Millennium is growing a vibrant professional development community for educators and parents. Millennium believes that adults are the model, mentor, and primary agent of change in adolescent development, and that only by first strengthening their own capacities can they effectively cultivate well-being in their students. The principle vehicle for Millennium’s change process is a dynamic peer-to-peer coaching method called Forum, where educators (and then their students) meet regularly in small circles to explore real issues and develop social-emotional competence.
Jeff has served on the boards of Greenhouse E3, Education Superhighway, Mindful Schools, Challenge Success, and Marin Montessori in addition to several for-profit HR Technology firms. Over the past twenty years he has led multiple education-related organizations and facilitated scores of leadership circles and retreats.
Previously Jeff spent 16 years leading one of the largest Fortune 500 leadership technology companies before its acquisition by KornFerry in 2012. He served as Co-Founder and CEO for 12 years, building a large-scale assessment and blended learning platform with a faculty that included Ken Blanchard, Stephen Covey, Peter Senge and Tom Peters among others. Along the way, Jeff has enjoyed parenting his own three children, hiking mountains around the world, and helping adults and students develop a broader definition of success.
