Medical Doctor
Gordon Irving is a retired Medical Doctor who worked in pain medicine for decades. At one point he served as the President of the South African Pain Society. He later took over the Pain Clinic of the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA where he supervised an interdisciplinary team of providers including physicians, psychologists as well as physical and occupational therapists. Gordon is currently involved with volunteering with the End of Life (Death with Dignity) program in Washington State. Gordon feels that one can still have control over one’s death as well as over one’s life if circumstances allow.
